St. Matthews EMS is a dedicated partner to the residents of the Fire District and their health. In an effort to better the lives and health of its citizens, St. Matthews Fire and EMS works to provide numerous programs in the surrounding community to ensure involvement on a local level with the people we serve.

Through the Community Initiatives Division, St. Matthews Fire and EMS raises awareness and educates the public to target and prevent public health issues in the district and the surrounding area. Blood Pressure Screening

Any of our Ambulances or Fire Apparatus can check your blood pressure. We offer free screenings at public education events we attend and can check you pressure at one of our fire stations as well. Call or come visit us at either of our two locations.

CPR Certification Courses

St. Matthews Fire and EMS coordinates with our CPR instructors to offer courses to both businesses and community groups. We are happy to work with your organization to design a course that meets your needs. For more information or to schedule a course please call 502-893-7825 or fill out or request form here.
